He was laughing hysterically seconds before this, but i thought this was still super cute!
Thomas is entering this into an anti-cyberbully contest at his school. He’s going to color it in tomorrow, but I’m just really proud of his creativity! It says, “Tweet others the way you want to be tweeted!!!” #nocyberbullying
Kristopher was telling me stories!
The light on my phone is to bright, but Kris couldn’t help trying to get my phone!
Nap-time on his new couch bed. He loves that thing!
found-my-niche said: I read your updated mini bio on the top of your blog. I feel like all I eat is carbs, to be honest. What does your diet consist of nowadays? I don't even know how to scrounge up a tenth of the amount of determination and will power that you have. I keep getting like a week into a routine and then feel like I'm starving all of the time so I stop or get that "I'll cheat just this once" thing in my head and before I know it I have binged myself for like 4 days on nothing but crap.
Well to be honest, the summer has gotten the best of my diet. Luckily, I haven’t gained anything back. I will be officially starting back up on the 10th when i have the money to go shopping.
I eat lots of meat and vegetables, a little fruit, and i allow myself one carb filled thing a day(a desert, a bun, a bowl of cereal or whatever sounds good that day). I have coffee everyday and i don’t deny myself creamer.
My breakfast is usually something with eggs(a scramble with veggies, meat and cheese), lunch is like chicken salad or stir fry type thing with whatever meat you want and a few different cut up veggies all cooked together with some olive oil or coconut oil and some seasonings of your choice. My dinners are a meat and like cup each of two different veggies.
Typically the meats should be leaner meats and lots of green leafy veggies. Lots of water is important of course. If you drink anything else, maybe plain teas. I try to stay away from as much sugar as possible, but would opt for something sugary over sugar free(aspartame) options. When you are hungry between meals snack on fruit or veggies.
You’d be surprised how easy it is to keep going with it. I have several friends that have gone low carb as well. You just have to allow yourself that one bad thing a day(in moderation) so you don’t feel deprived.
Oh and Mediterranean food is always a good choice. It had become my favorite type of food!
